We are still taking extra precautions to ensure the overall health and wellbeing of our patients
We would like to reassure you that every effort is being made to ensure the health and wellbeing of all of our patients and staff members at all times.
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we are following the directions of the Australian Dental Association and the Department of Health and Human Services. Whilst we already uphold strict guidelines when it comes to infection control and sterilisation duties, we have now included additional precautionary methods of infection control practice-wide. These include, but are not limited to pre-appointment bacteria killing mouth wash, sanitising our EFTPOS machines between every patient, waiting room surfaces, patient and staff bathrooms, doors and handles, bench tops every 20-30 minutes.
We wish to share the precautions and recommendations with you. Thus, helping ensure, that you, and those around you, stay healthy.
We recommend practicing active and appropriate hygiene. Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds frequently. If you sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue (dispose of immediately) or your elbow sleeve, then follow with hand sanitiser or wash your hands. If you do not feel well, please stay at home and self-isolate where necessary. We know there is a strong connection between oral health and overall health, so it’s especially important you do all you can to stay healthy, and that includes brushing, flossing, and seeing us here at the dentist. Gum disease can weaken your immune system. Being proactive about your oral health may not prevent you from getting sick, but will certainly help keep your body’s natural defenses strong.
We will continue to actively monitor information about Coronavirus from the CDC, ADA, and other public health agencies and update our procedures and protocols as new information becomes available. Our top priority is to continue meeting and exceeding the needs of our patients as well as ensuring your health and safety.
Stay safe and we look forward to caring for you soon.
